LOCATION

Located on Lake Kirkpatrick, the facility comprises a dining room/meeting room facility, 7 cabins, boat house and an additional shower sauna building.
Lake Kirkpatrick is characterized by three extensive bays and terminates in a majestic waterfall complete with log flume. The Blue Lakes system of which Lake Kirkpatrick is the largest (12 miles long) is the only trout fishing preserve (self propagating) in the province of Ontario. Access to these lakes and to Blue Fox Camp is restricted to fly-in during the summer season (May 1 to September 30) and by snow machine in the winter.The other lakes in the system are all inter-connected by traversable portages.

ACCESS

During summer season flights by float plane depart from Elliot Lake, Mount Lake, or Sault Ste Marie (Ont.). Fly-in via multiple local airlines costs approximately $100-$120 CDN per person, round trip, tax included, based on 3 or 4 passengers. John Blake's Fly-in Service (705) 848-8535, flies from Elliot Lake and flying time is approximately 20 minutes via 3 passenger Cessna 185. Round trip $330.

Bruno Rapp Air Service (705) 848-7501, provides service from Mount Lake (located 50 Kms./ 30 mls. north of Elliot Lake) via 4 passenger Beaver service.

Lauzon Aviation (705) 849-2489 of Algoma Mills provides air service to Blue Fox camp from Algoma Mills,Ontario via Beaver and Cessna air craft.

Air Dale (705) 759-5001, flies to Blue Fox Camp from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario via Beaver and Cessna air craft.
